On Wednesday, January 12, the Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the ACC will present a program titled Risks & Challenges to Managing Personal Data. It will be held at the offices of United Rentals located at 5 Greenwich Office Park in Greenwich, CT and starts at 8:30 a.m. and adjourns at noon.
The speakers will review a number of topics relating to the management of personal data, such as the risks affecting employee personal data and company confidential information, as well as developing a "Written Information Security Program" (WISP). Other topics will include new legislative developments for securing critical data, ARRA/HITECH, cloud computing, enforcement activity and pending federal laws.
The faculty includes Joseph J. Lazzarotti, chair, HIPPA and Workplace Privacy Group; Johan Lubbe, partner and chair, International Group, and Michael Soltis, managing partner, all of Jackson Lewis LLP.
