The Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the ACC is offering A Day with the FTC on Wednesday, March 16, at the Woodway Country Club in Darien, CT.
The seminar begins at 8:50 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m.
The agenda includes three panel discussions of the latest Federal Trade Commission topics that impact in-house as well as outside counsel.In addition to the panel discussions there will be a keynote address by the Commissioner of the FTC, Julie Brill.
The first panel, which provides an overview of how the FTC works, will be led by the director of the Northeast Regional Office of the FTC, Len Gordon. The second panel will be moderated by Darren A. Bowie, legal director, North America, Nokia, Inc., and the topic is What Every Corporate Counsel Needs to Know about the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection.
The last panel will examine what corporate counsel need to know about the FTC's Bureau of Competition and includes Richard Feinstein, director, Bureau of Competition, FTC, and Richard Steuer, partner, Mayer Brown.
