The Westchester/Southern Connecticut Association of Corporate Counsel is offering a program titled EEOC Targets No Fault Leave & Automatic Policies: Time To Ring the Death Knell?
The meeting starts at 8:30 and ends 11:15 a.m. at the offices of United Rentals, 5 Greenwich Office Park in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The program will examine recent EEOC enforcement actions concerning leave and attendance policies and recommend preventive steps to maximize compliance. The faculty will cover the latest developments in managing intermittent leave, including a discussion of recent cases, Connecticut's paid sick leave law, which comes into effect in January, 2012, and trends relating to other types of leave laws being enacted in state legislatures.
