The Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the ACC will host a morning and afternoon with the SEC.Join them to spend the day with top officials from the SEC who will speak on a variety of topics of interest to corporate and outside counsel.
This biennial meeting will be located at the Woodway Country Club, 540 Hoyt Street, Darien, CT. It will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.
Attendees will engage in discussions that focus on the latest issues facing corporations and the SEC.They will learn about enforcement issues, management restructuring within the SEC, insider trading FCPA, clawbacks under SOX 304 and understand the division's new aim to be strategic and swift in its enforcement efforts.
The keynote speaker is Elisse B. Walter, commissioner, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and she will talk about shareholder access to the director nominating process, the "plumbing" of the proxy solicitation process, company access to OBOs/ NOBOs, and executive compensation.
