The Employment Law Committee of the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia is planning a CLE seminar titled Hot Issues in Employment Law: Family Responsibilities Discrimination and Work-Life Policy and Practice.
The program will take place on Thursday, February 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the offices of Arnold & Porter LLP, 555 12th Street, NW, Washington, DC.
The program will address the growing area of family responsibilities discrimination law and discuss employer practices and policies that ease the work-life conflict.
Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton, the member of the U.S. House of Representatives for DC, will be the luncheon keynote speaker. EEOC Commissioner Christine Griffin will discuss the EEOC's Enforcement Guidance on caregiver discrimination.
