On Thursday and Friday, May 27 and 28, the University of Texas School of Law will host a Technology Law Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin.
The sessions begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday and adjourn to a reception at 5:40 p.m. Topics include Advanced Issues Involving Licensing and Technology Agreements, Special Licensing Issues Involved with Sin Outs, and Open Source: Business Implementation, In-House Development and Compliance Considerations. Panelists Jeffrey B. Andrews, Thompson & Knight LLP and David N. Guedry, Jones Day, will discuss Top Ten Outsourcing Mistakes and How to Avoid Them.
On Friday, Keith Blanchard, Story Worldwide, and Bart W. Huffman, Cox Smith Matthews Inc. will discuss Social Media: Telling Your Story and Managing the Conversation, and Steven Goode, UTCLE, will discuss The Admissibility of Electronic Evidence.
