On Tuesday, December 8, the Los Angeles County Bar Association is hosting a CLE event titled Fair Fighting Over Jobs: Unfair Competition Law and Employer-Employee Relations.
The session will be held at the LA County Bar Association, 1055 West 7th Street, 27th Floor, in Los Angeles. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program will run from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The session provides some opportunity from 11:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. for attendees to network professionally with bar and section members from both sides of the bar, bench and expert witness box.
The program will be presented by three top private-practice attorneys who will identify and answer common questions that California companies have about the legality of enforcing employee covenants not to compete, non-disclosure agreements, "predatory hiring," and other similar issues at the intersection of employment law and unfair competition law.
The presenters are Daniel M. Flores, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher; Dan Forman, Carlton DiSante & Freudenberger; and Cheryl D. Orr, Drinker Biddle and Reath LLP.
