Trademarks In A Down Economy

On Friday, June 11, the WESFACCA chapter of the ACC will present a seminar titled Trademarks: Maintaining Best Practices in a Tougher Economy.

The program is co-sponsored by Kelley Drye & Warren and will be located at their offices at 400 Atlantic Street in Stamford, Connecticut.

The event is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at noon.

The topics will include a view on key issues facing companies with substantial trademark portfolios including legal and business framework for controlling world-class marks; choices to be considered in a tough economy; examination of the "new wrinkle" fraud requirements and the impact on in-house counsel; and how to be more efficient while trying to do more with less.

Attendees will also examine the recent developments in trademark law including Internet issues, trademark litigation issues and systemic approaches for protecting a large portfolio and enforcing trademark rights.
