A two-day session offered by the University Of Texas School Of Law titled 2008 Consumer Bankruptcy Practice will cover essential updates in the practice of bankruptcy law.
The session will be held Thursday and Friday, June 19 and 20 at the Moody Gardens in Galveston from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. on Friday. This includes a buffet dinner (families are welcome) and reception in the gardens on Thursday evening.
Sessions will cover such topics as consumer bankruptcy, car cases, a skit about ethics and bankruptcy, a panel of lawyers to discuss bankruptcy practice for new lawyers, issues of local concern, mortagae lenders and servicers.Speakers include judges, lawyers, and law professors.
