The University of Texas School of Law will present a video replay of its 34th Annual Ernest E. Smith Oil, Gas & Mineral Law Institute.
The program will take place on Thursday, May 8 from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cityplace Conference Center, 2711 North Haskell Avenue, Dallas.
Panelists address topics such as: What Surface Minerals Are and Why Oil and Gas Owners Should Care; Use of Title Examination Standards in Drafting Oil and Gas Title Opinions; Attorney-Client Privilege in the Oil and Gas Practice; Surface Damage Acts and the Accommodation Doctrine; Revisiting the Royalty Clause in the 21st Century; Contractual Based Remedies in Oil and Gas Agreements, and Use of Net Profit Interests in Financing Oil and Gas Transactions.
Among the speakers are Scott Anderson, Environmental Defense, and Ernest E. Smith, professor, University of Texas School of Law.
