The University of Texas School of Law and the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Texas will present their 10th Annual Corporate Counsel Institute in two locations.
The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 7 and 8 at the Westin Oaks Hotel, 5011 Westheimer, Houston, and on Thursday and Friday, February 28 and 29 at the Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas. Sessions will run from 8:5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on day one and from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on day two.
Discussion topics will include: Credit Facilities and Major Corporate Transactions; Current Topics in Acquisitions and Divestitures; Pro Bono Opportunities for In-House Counsel; Top Issues in Employment Law; International Compliance; Environmental Law: Climate Change and Other Environmental Updates, and 2008 Legal Requirements Under the National Labor Relations Act Impacting on Employer and Employee Rights.
