The State Bar of Texas is planning a two-day CLE seminar for Thursday, July 10 and Friday, July 11.The title of Thursday's seminar is Employee Benefits Law. Friday's seminar is titled Executive Compensation. These video replays will be held in Houston at the Holiday Inn Select, 2712 Southwest Freeway, Houston.
On day one, the seminar runs from 8:15 a.m. until 5 p.m. On day two, the session runs from 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Some of the topics that will be discussed are the anatomy of an executive compensation agreement, equity-based compensation, and key executive compensation litigation fronts.Anatomy of an ERISA claim, ERISA issues in business transactions, and privacy and data protection will be discussed at the Thursday session.
Among the speakers are course director John V. Jansonius of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Steven W. Milton, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and Nicole E. Eichberger, Proskauer Rose LLP.
