The Colorado Bar Association has scheduled a Tax Law course as part of its five-day CLE conference in Vail.
The conference runs from Wednesday, January 6, through Sunday, January 10 at the Marriott Mountain Resort in Vail. This is a national conference with leading lawyers and professionals from all over the country speaking. Early morning and late afternoon CLE classes will allow attendees time to enjoy the beautiful mountain setting.
The tax law program addresses timely issues such as Taxation of Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights with Jill Welytok, Absolute Technology Law Group, LLC; a plenary session on Thursday with Larry Cohen titled Legal Ethics Can Be Fun: Lawyers on TV and in the Movies; Current Developments in Corporate Tax with Devon M. Bodoh, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and James E. Carreon, Alvarez & Marsal LLC; A Neglected Minefield: What Transactional Lawyers Need to Know about Dispute Resolution presented by Daniel M. Share of Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker, P.C.; and an International Tax Update: A View from the Capitol with Dirk J. Suringa, Covington & Burling, Washington DC.
