Strategies For Litgating Employment Cases In NJICLE Program

The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association, is presenting a program on Tuesday, November 25 from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. The seminar will be part of the NJICLE's Fall CLEfest, and will take place at the Woodbridge Hotel and Conference Center in Iselin, New Jersey.

Representing the parties in employment cases can present attorneys with unique challenges. The stakes are high, the clients emotional, and the attorney with the more sophisticated skills and creative approach often has the competitive edge in the courtroom. How effectively at attorney prepares, deposes, and relates to both judge and jury can make the difference between winning and losing the trial.

The agenda of this program will offer attendees the opportunity to approach litigating and trying employment cases, including internal investment, video depositions, summary judgment, pretrial motions, jury charges, damages and settlement and ethical considerations.

Moderating the program will be Stephen H. Kahn, Kahn Opton and John A. Ridley, Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP. Speakers include Maureen S. Binetti, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer; Lisa Manshel, Francis & Manshel; Sharon P. Margello and Richard C. Mariani, Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart, PC; and Bruce P.McMoran, McMoran, O'Connor & Bramley.
