The Indiana State Bar Association has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Energy and Mineral Law in Indiana.
The program will take place on Thursday, February 28 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the ICLEF Conference Facility, 230 East Ohio Street, Indianapolis, IN.
Discussions will focus on issues such as: coal production methods, current issues and trends; oil and gas operations, methods, current issues and trends; what are "minerals"?; regulatory issues related to coal; anatomy of oil and gas leases; regulatory issues related to oil and gas; duration of oil and gas leases, and Dormant Mineral Interest Act.
Among the speakers will be Michael Siebers, senior vice president-sales and marketing, Peabody Energy; Steven T. Link, general counsel, Indiana Oil & Gas Association, and Herschel McDivitt, director, Division of Oil & Gas, Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
