On Thursday, June 25, the State Bar of California will present Intellectual Property in Entertainment and Media.
This daylong seminar will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows, 9641 Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills, starting at 9 a.m.and concluding at 4:30 p.m.
Five topics will be presented in a panel format, and a networking luncheon is scheduled. Topics to be explored include Issues with Digital Advertising and Marketing, Protection and Theft of Ideas, Right of Publicity Issues on the Internet, The Evolving World of Music Licensing in the Digital World, and Meeting IP Needs of Entertainment Clients in a Cost-Effective Manner.
Among the panelists are Jordan McCollum, vice president and counsel, Walt Disney Internet Group; Adam Hime, senior counsel of IP & Litigation, MTV Networks; Cydney A. Tune, counsel, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP; Georgann Grunebach, vice president of Intellectual Property, Fox Entertainment Group; and Jeff Brabec, vice president of Business Affairs, Chrysalis Music Group.
