A Seminar titled The Worker's Compensation Summer Symposium is scheduled by the State Bar of California on two separate dates and locations this July.
On Saturday July 12, the CLE seminar is scheduled for the Universal City Hilton, 555 Universal Hollywood Drive, Universal City, CA. On Saturday July 26, the seminar will be presented at the Concord Hilton, 1970 Diamond Blvd, Concord, CA.
The general session will run from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.Topics that will be explored include how to develop the record to ensure medical reports can establish an accurate impairment rating; practical tips and strategies for submitting briefs and arguing before the DCA; and how to try a case post-SB899, practical tips and litigation strategies. At lunchtime, local judges at each location will present a progress report on how to litigate with DWC's Electronic Adjudication Management System.
