The State Bar of Arizona has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Ethics 911: Inside the Ethics Hotline.
The program will take place on Wednesday, January 30 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the State Bar of Arizona Boardroom, 4201 North 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ.
Using hypotheticals based on the most popular inquiries to the State Bar ethics hotline, the seminar will explore subject areas of hotline calls such as: conflicts (of all sorts), client confidentiality, reporting misconduct, safekeeping property, fees, unauthorized practice of law, and communicating with a represented person.
The program chair is Patricia A. Sallen, State Bar ethics counsel. Among other speakers are Diana L. Herrera, Phoenix City Prosecutor's Office; Anna M. Unterberger, Maricopa County Public Defender's Office, and Angela Napper, State Bar assistant ethics counsel.
