The South Texas College of Law presents its Twenty-third Annual Real Estate Law Conference on Thursday and Friday, June 5 and 6.This two-day course covers such topics as current environmental issues, an overview of the 2007 Revisions to the American Institute of Architects Agreements, the Texas economy (is it good, bad, or indifferent?), the subprime mortgage debacle, wind energy, and real estate issues after the 2005 bankruptcy legislation.
The conference will be held in Houston at the South Texas College of Law, 1303 San Jacinto, in the atrium of Garrett-Townes Hall.It runs from 8:25 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the first day and from 8:25 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the second day.Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Among the presenters are Larry Nettle, Vinson & Elkins, LLP;Professor Jean Powers, South Texas College of Law; Ted C. Jones, Stewart Title Guaranty Company, and E. Allen Jacobs, CRA International.
