The Bar Association of San Francisco's Barristers Club will present its third annual Crystal Ball. This is the latest event to continue the efforts of the club to maintain and run its own community and pro bono programs to bring exposure to the legal profession for young students while encouraging diversity and participation in pro bono events among bar members.
The ball will be held on Saturday, March 26, at The Green Room, 401 Van Ness Ave. at McAllister in San Francisco and will run from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
Attendees will enjoy dancing and complimentary appetizers, wine and beer. They can attempt to outbid each other at the Crystal Ball Silent Auction, which this year will benefit the San Francisco Mock Trial Program, in which groups of attorney coaches work with student teams from seven San Francisco programs and high schools to compete in a mock trial tournament in February. Each year, the winner of the San Francisco Mock Trial program competes in a statewide tournament, and in 2010, the San Francisco team were the runners-up! The mock trial program is one of BASF's Diversity Pipeline programs.
