Basics of Forming a Business Entity in the DC Metro Area is the title of a CLE seminar being offered by the DC Bar Association.
The program will take place on Monday, February 25 from 6 to 9:15 p.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.
This course will discuss the issues that attorneys need to consider when forming a business entity in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Attendees will learn the differences between various business entity forms (corporate and non-corporate) and other relevant considerations. The legal concepts, organizational principles, advantages and attributes of C and S corporations, statutory close corporations, limited liability companies. Partnerships, limited Liability partnerships and the Maryland business trust will be discussed.
The speaker will be Nicholas Karambelas, attorney at law.
