The North Carolina Bar Association will present a CLE seminar titled Representing White Collar Defendants.
The program will take place on Friday, May 16 from 8:55 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Omni Hotel, 132 East Trade Street, Charlotte, NC.
What was once a practice area simply for out-of state big city law firms representing publicly traded companies is increasingly reaching into North Carolina cities, large and small, and touching businesses of all forms and sizes. The specter of criminal, administrative and "special" civil proceedings hangs over an increasing number of business decisions. This program affords timely hands-on strategies for representing individuals and businesses from pre-indictment and grand jury issues all the way through sentencing.
The course planner is Edwin L. West III, Rountree Losee & Baldwin LLP.
For information on available CLE credits and registration fees, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metro- corpcounsel.com.
