The Bar Association of San Francisco has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Winning Your Bankruptcy Appeal.
The program will take place on Tuesday, February 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.
Discussion topics will include: avoiding pitfalls in your appeal; discussion of timing, jurisdiction, standard of reviews, and other issues; where to file an appeal and why, and advocacy tips from the bench and bar.
Speakers will be the Hon. Christopher M. Klein, chief judge, Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Ninth Circuit, and Jessica Gabel, Covington & Burling.
