The New York City Bar Association is offering a seminar titled Licensing: Beyond The Basics.
The program is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.
The seminar will address some of the more complex issues that arise in drafting and negotiating trademark, copyright and technology licenses. A panel of experts will offer practical advice on how to negotiate contested issues related to fashion, sports, consumer brands and a host of other areas, with an emphasis on avoiding litigation post-execution. The program will be chaired by Amanda Samuel, Colgate-Palmolive Company.
