On Thursday and Friday, September 4 and 5, The Practising Law Institute will "groupcast" a vital program on securities laws live from their New York City offices to the PBI center in Philadelphia. Understanding the Securities Laws 2008 will begin broadcasting to The CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, Suite 1010, Philadelphia at 9 a.m., concluding at 5 p.m.
This program will provide attendees with an up-to-the-minute understanding of the interplay of the basic underpinnings of the Securities Act of 1933, the Exchange Act of 1934, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and related SEC regulations. Emphasis will be on both the substance of these acts and their rules and on how a securities lawyer can solve practical problems.
