The Labor & Employment Committee of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel has scheduled a program titled Latest Developments in EEOC Litigation.
The session will take place on Friday, April 11 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, 5101 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, CA.
The program features the perspective and insights of EEOC Regional Attorney Bill Tamayon. Lockheed Martin ($2.5M for an individual racial harassment/retaliation case); EEOC v. Sidley Austin ($28M settlement for terminated partners under the age discrimination law); implications of the just decided Fedex Supreme Court decision on what constitutes a requisite agency filing for purposes of exhaustion of remedies, and recent religious discrimination and religious accommodation cases.
The program is free to ACC members. For information on Cle credits and registration fees for nonmembers, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
