The Bar Association of San Francisco has scheduled a CLE Event - Combating Trade Secret Theft and Computer Crimes: Strategies for Civil Enforcement, Criminal Prosecution and Avoiding Claims - on Tuesday, September 21.
It will run from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.
Topics under discussion include new developments in trade secret litigation; key issues for Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Electronic Communications Privacy Act and Stored Communications Act claims; recent trends in investigating and prosecuting trade secret theft and computer crimes; and considerations for enforcing rights, protecting data and enforcing claims.
The scheduled speakers are Hanley Chew, assistant U.S. attorney, United States District Court for the Northern District of California; Brian Martin, general counsel, KLA-Tencor Corp.; Hajime Tada, director of litigation, Agilent Technologies; and Carla Oakley, partner, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.
