On Tuesday, March 23, the Bar Association of San Francisco will host a brown bag luncheon to review retaliation protection under the Labor Code.
Speakers David Bell, Industrial Relations Counsel III and lead attorney for the labor commissioner's Retaliation Complaint Investigation (RCI) Unit and Holly Hayashida, also Industrial Relations Counsel III and RCI oversight, appeals process, will discuss the following: behaviors protected by the Labor Code; labor commissioner jurisdiction as distinguished from that of DFEH; what to expect when representing a party; and common mistakes and misunderstandings.
