The San Francisco Bar Association has scheduled a brown bag luncheon titled The Law of Trade Secret Litigation from the 47 UTSA States for Thursday, September 24, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.
The speaker, J. Partrick Huston, principal of The Huston Law Firm and author of The Law of Trade Secret Litigation Under the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, will discuss the new perspectives on trade secret litigation law from the 47 UTSA states regarding the following: information specificity standards, independent economic value from secrecy, a logical framework for evaluating reasonable efforts at secrecy, circumstances affecting reasonable efforts at secrecy, compilation trade secrets, trade secret misappropriation, and remedies for trade secret misappropriation.
