The San Francisco Bar Association will host a lunchtime CLE seminar titled In Search of Truth in Lending on Friday, September 19, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.
Speakers Alan Ramos of Nevin, Ramos & Steele and Pamela Simmons of The Law Offices of Simmons & Purdy will discuss the Truth in Lending Act and explain other mysteries of the real estate universe.Topics that they will explore include the application of TILA in the current marketplace and how TILA does or doesn't work today; the intersection of TILA and Title 11: can TILA rights survive bankruptcy; and options currently available to homeowners in financial difficulty.
