The San Diego chapter of ACC has scheduled a morning seminar titled Building a Partnership with Outside Counsel for Thursday, October 16, from 8 to 9 a.m., with registration and breakfast at 7:30.
The seminar, which is the monthly MCLE seminar, is being held at the law offices of Heller Ehrman LLP, 4350 La Jolla Village Drive in San Diego.
Scheduled speakers are Suzanne Hawkins and David Kleinfeld of Heller Ehrman, Chris Ekren of Sony Electronics, and Alan Tse of LG MobileComm. They will discuss the efficient use of legal resources both inside and outside the company and how building a partnership with outside counsel can make operations more effective and economical. Ms. Hawkins, who is former senior counsel of Legal Operations at GE, will lead a conversation on how to promote practice excellence through teamwork with outside counsel.
