On Friday, May 1, the New York City Bar Association will hold its 10th Annual Corporate and Securities Law Update: Doing Deals in the Current Economic Market from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Association of the Bar, 42 West 44th Street, NYC.
This annual program, designed for experienced attorneys, will examine recent extensive regulatory and marketplace developments. A well-respected faculty of corporate and securities lawyers from outside firms, in-house counsel and financial services companies, chaired by N. Adele Hogan, White & Case LLP, will discuss practical ways to comply with the new regulations in the securities, corporate and mergers and acquisitions areas. The program will include helpful SEC and other regulatory interpretive guidance. Other topics will include the latest developments in recent SEC rule changes and M&A and other corporate law developments. It will also provide a check list of deals that can be done in the current credit environment and how to do them.
