On Thursday, February 24, the Bar Association of San Francisco will hold a seminar to teach lawyers to take advantage of the social media revolution to expand business.
Networking/Rainmaking Using Social Media for Business Development will run from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco. Lunch will be provided, and no CLE credits will be given.
Speakers Doug Mandell, managing partner and founder of the Mandell Law Group and former general counsel of LinkedIn, and R.J. Ramsey, senior counsel, Bechtel Corporation, will address the following topics: generating and leveraging your own personal brand; learning to use such social networking tools such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook to build a professional reputation for business development and job prospecting; and learning to create a professional brand management strategy and to use social media as one of the tools to implement it.
