The Practising Law Institute is planning a CLE seminar titled Advanced Patent Licensing 2008: What You Need to Know Before Licensing Your Patent. The program will take place on Wednesday, May 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the PLI Conference Center, 810 7th Avenue, New York City.
Experts in technology and patent licensing will cover the strategies and techniques needed in drafting joint development agreements. This program will address issues arising in drafting licensing agreements for patents in technology transactions from the perspectives of both the licensor and licensee. Attendees will learn how to create win-win patent licenses, draft terms to avoid unenforceable agreements, and the ethical rules of engagement in licensing negotiations.
The program co-chairs are Mark S. Holmes of PatentBridge LLC and Joseph Yang of PatentEsque Law Group LLP.
