The PLI has planned a seminar titled Understanding the Intellectual Property License 2008 for Monday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 28 starting at 9 a.m. and adjourning at 5:00 p.m. on both days at the PLI Center, 810 Seventh Avenue at 53rd Street, New York City.
Licensing is one of the hottest areas in intellectual property today. Many companies are analyzing and identifying their intellectual property assets to determine which they can license and how they can license them. A solid base of knowledge about licensing of intellectual property has never been more important for companies and their counsel. This course will give attendees an overview of how to negotiate and draft effective license agreements. Experts in licensing will discuss different kinds of licensing agreements, and the business and legal issues related to them.
