The Pennsylvania Bar Institute is hosting a two-day seminar on Thursday and Friday, March 11 and 12. The program will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia.
Both days, it will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:35 p.m.
The seminar will bring together the public and private sectors and focus on the most complex issues that affect health law practitioners and their clients. The plenary session features Charles Artz, Artz Health Law; Barbara Blackmond,Horty, Springer & Mattern, P.C.; and Mark H. Gallant of Cozen O'Connor. The speakers will bring participants up to date on the developments in health law impacting physicians, hospitals and payment providers. The sessions will look at what lies ahead and suggest how to best prepare for the changes that are looming on the healthcare horizon.
Topics include HIPAA, FDA enforcement priorities, insurance fraud, and labor and employment issues impacting healthcare in 2010.
