Join the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Eastern Pennsylvania for a seminar focusing on the issues in civil litigation. The program is scheduled for Friday, December 4, at the Bar Association of Lehigh County, 1114 Walnut Street in Allentown, PA. It will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.
Participants will learn from a panel of leading practitioners and federal judges what to expect (and what is required) to litigate a civil case successfully in the Eastern District. The program will cover civil litigation from a pre-filing investigation up through trial.
Among the topics are pre-complaint investigations and initial pleadings, class actions, scheduling and traditional discovery, witness preparation, settlement v. trial and the digital courtroom.
