The Oklahoma Bar Association will present a two-day CLE seminar titled Recent Developments 2008 in two locations. The first will be held on Thursday and Friday, December 11 and 12, at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa, and the second will be held on Thursday and Friday, December 18 and 19, at the Oklahoma Bar Center in Oklahoma City. Participants can register for one day or both.
The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast and adjourn at 3:10 p.m. on both days. A networking lunch is included in the registration.
Among the presenters are Sheppard Miers of GableGotwals in Tulsa and Richard Kells of Hartzog Conger Cason & Neville in Oklahoma City presenting the tax law update;Tim Reese of Lawter & Associates, P.L.L.C. with a workers' compensation law update; and Gary Derrick of Derrick and Briggs, L.L.P. presenting a business and corporate law update. Jim Calloway of the OBA Management Assistance Program will present a law office management and technology update, and Gina Hendryx of the OBA Ethics Counsel will provide an ethics update.
