On Wednesday, July 16, the Ohio State Bar Association will host a seminar titled Immigration Law, which is intended for the non-specialist attorney who requires a basic grasp of the subject.
The program will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. at the association's office in Columbus, 1700 Lake Shore Drive.
Sherry L. Neal, Hammond Law Group; Mark M. Nesbit, Nesbit Law Firm, and Christopher J. Kempf and David S. Bloomfield, Bloomfield & Kempf are among the seminar's faculty. Beyond a review of family-based petitions and visas for temporary workers, the program will explore the immigration consequences of criminal convictions and plea bargains and permanent residency and naturalization, which are key issues for employers of foreign nationals.
