Join the NYSBA on Friday, June 25, at the Radisson Martinique, located at 40 West 32nd Street in New York City, for a full-day program titled Insurance Coverage Issues in the Commercial General Liability Policy: Emerging Issues for the Next Decade.
It will begin at 8:30 a.m. and adjourn at 4:30 p.m.
The program will begin with an overview of the commercial general liability policy and discussion of topics such as the insuring agreement, common exclusions, trigger of coverage and who is insured. The recent case law will be reviewed with discussion of Worth, Garito and other recent litigation.
Participants will be provided with an in-depth examination of "other insurance" issues in the wake of BP and Bovis v. Great American; late notice under the new amendments to Section 3420; and damages and ethical considerations for assigned counsel.
