On Friday, April 29, The New York State Bar presents Introductory Lessons on Ethics and Civility.
The program is located at the Crowne Plaza Times Square, 1605 Broadway in New York City. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.
The seminar features a combination of lectures and a colloquium on ethics and civility. Ethical issues faced by attorneys will be explored through a discussion of real-world hypothetical scenarios. Panelists include judges, ethics experts, and experienced practitioners. The program includes a review of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct, disciplinary rules, recent developments and cases of interest. Also, a panel will focus on conflicts of interest and law firm civility issues.
