The NY County Lawyers' Association has scheduled three programs to teach advanced research skills using Lexis for Wednesday, August 12 to be presented by a Lexis staff attorney. The location is the 3rd Floor Library, Home of Law, 14 Vesey St., New York City.
The first session, Lexis I, is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. It is designed to provide a working knowledge of the Lexis service.
The second session, Lexis: New York Research, is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m.The focus of this program will be how to use expert analysis from sources like New York Civil Practices: CPLR; LexisNexis®AnswerGuide; New York Litigation and Transactional Premium LexisNexis Forms; news sources; public records; and adding a customized New York tab to the main menu screen and more.
The final session of the day, Lexis: Personal Injury, will commence at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m.
