The NYSBA-sponsored program titled Law School for Claims Professionals will explore topics on insurance and liability. The speakers will provide an overview of premises liability, automobile liability, liens and subrogation, indemnification and defense obligation issues, notice and bad faith developments.
It will take place in six locations and will have a different faculty in each place.All programs will commence at 9 a.m. and adjourn at 4 p.m.
The schedule is as follows: Friday, September 5, the program, chaired by Valerie L. Barbic, Trevett Cristo Salzer & Andolina P.C., will be held at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel, 801 University Ave, Syracuse, NY.
On Friday, September 19, it will take place in three locations: in Albany at the NY State Nurses Association, 11 Cornell Rd, Latham, NY, chaired by Edward B. Flink, Flink Smith LLC; in Buffalo at the Ramada Hotel, 2402 North Forest Rd, Amherst, chaired by Laurie A. Giordano, Leclair Korona Giordano Cole LLP; and on Long Island at the Hyatt Regency, 1717 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge,chaired by Stephen M. Lazare, Lazare Potter Giacovas & Kranjac LLP.
The final two sessions will be on Thursday, September 25 in Westchester at the Westchester Marriott, 670 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY, chaired by Daniel W. Gerber, Goldberg Segalla LLP; and Friday, September 26 in NYC at the New York State Insurance Fund, 199 Church Street, chaired by Charles J. Siegel, Law Offices of Charles J. Siegel.
