The state's two top judges spoke at the New Jersey State Bar Association's Annual Meeting and Convention in May. New Jersey Chief Justice Stuart Rabner and U.S. District Court of New Jersey Chief Judge Garrett Brown presented "State of the Judiciary" speeches, which came on the closing day of the NJSBA's 111th Annual Meeting and Convention.
Members attended more than 60 seminars and events at two hotels and at various restaurants. Over 200 speakers presented, including prominent judges, lawyers and legislators, who discussed trends in class actions, family law developments and ethics. The highlighted topics included discussions about new media, immigration law and employment law.
