On Tuesday and Wednesday, February 22 and 23, the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms will hold its annual business meeting.
The meeting is located at the Ritz Carlton, One Lincoln Road in South Beach, Miami and on Tuesday will run from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. followed by a reception from 5:45 until 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday the seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:15 p.m.
Tuesday will begin with a welcome breakfast and a presentation on the state of the organization by Jason L. Brown, executive director and general counsel of NAMWOLF.The afternoon sessions include an In-House Counsel and Inclusion Initiative Update, a meeting with the Engagement and Outreach Committee; a presentation by the Government Advocacy Committee; a Law Firm Member Committees Meeting; and the Intellectual Property Alliance Meeting.
On Wednesday topics will include Annual Meeting Planning led by co-chairs, Kim Howard, Smith Fisher Mass & Howard, and Wendy Weingart, Prudential.
