How to Be Professional, Ethical and Avoid Malpractice is the title of an upcoming course being offered by the Missouri Bar CLE. Intended for recently admitted lawyers or those who have been reinstated or have gone from inactive to active status, the course will be held on Wednesday, November 12 at the University Plaza, 333 John Q. Hammons Parkway in Springfield, Missouri. The course will begin at 8:55 a.m. and conclude at noon.
Key topics to be featured include current issues involving malpractice and professionalism, a perspective from the bench on professionalism, and advice on dealing with lawyers and clients.
Faculty will include Christina M. Lewis and Christian A. Stiegemeyer of The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company, the Honorable H. Dean Whipple of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri, the Honorable David D. Noce, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, the Honorable Leslie M Schneider, 13th Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Michael J. Cordonnier, 31st Judicial Circuit.
