On Thursday and Friday, March 18 and 19, the MCCA is hosting its ninth annual CLE Expo at the Chicago Marriott Downtown at 540 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The scheduled sessions on Thursday run from 8:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. with a networking reception from 5:30 to 7:00. On Friday, sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and will end at noon to be followed by a luncheon until 1:00 p.m.
The featured opening plenary speakers are Michele Coleman Mayes, senior vice president, general counsel and chief legal officer of Allstate Insurance Company; George W. Madison, general counsel, Department of the Treasury; and William K. Tom, general counsel of the Federal Trade Commission, who will discuss the pressing issues of concern to senior corporate executives and their advisors in the current economic environment.
Attendees may select from courses, forums and panel discussions focusing on a range of topical subjects of interest to corporate counsel, including governance and compliance, intellectual property, labor law, government relations, EEOC and SEC enforcement, globalization, social media, healthcare and sustainability.
