MCLE will offer a unique opportunity to hear an in-depth discussion of recent changes in Superior Court civil practice at its 2008 Superior Court Judicial Forum on Thursday, December 11 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 700 Myles Standish Boulevard, Taunton, MA.
Panelists from the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be The Honorable Barbara J. Rouse, serving as moderator, The Honorable E. Susan Garsh, and Robert J. Kane. They will be joined by The Honorable Richard T. Moses of Moses, Moses, Smith & Markey, LLC.
They will present an update on the Business Litigation Session, changes to Rule 9A, the new proposed rule on written discovery, confidentiality orders, privilege log, sanctions, jury selection, use and identification of experts, electronic discovery, third party complaints, and an update on the firm and fair trial date initiative. The justices will offer their perspectives on civil practice and how to be an effective advocate.
