This year, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association will hold its Annual GCI Diversity Leadership Summit at the Doral Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida from Thursday to Saturday, April 22 to 24. It will include top-notch educational offerings focusing on the leadership and development of high-level attorneys in the MCCA network, as well as areas of key concern to leading in-house counsel.Guests will have a chance to network in relaxed, fun settings and enjoy recreational activities including golf lessons, a golf tournament, spa activities, the Friday evening black & white Soirée and, on Saturday night, a poolside awards dinner.
The Summit was organized as a fundraiser for the MCCA Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program through which MCCA distributes more than $160,000 in scholarships annually to outstanding students pursuing a career in law. The scholarships are available to diverse individuals who come from underprivileged backgrounds, have overcome obstacles, and are promising scholars.
