MCCA Offers Academy For Leadership And Inclusion

MCCA is proud to announce the creation of the Academy for Leadership and Inclusion --a groundbreaking, interactive training program designed to show attendees how to define, create, and sustain a diverse and inclusive workplace. The organization has scheduled the first Academy presentation in a series on April 8, at the Walmart Auditorium, 702 SW 8th Street in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Participants in the Academy will learn inclusion principles that can be implemented immediately within an organization. In partnership with the Center for Legal Inclusiveness (CLI), MCCA will present this four-hour training across the country throughout 2013. The course, developed by Kathleen Nalty, executive director of CLI, and Dr. Arin Reeves, Nextions, will be offered in six cities: Bentonville, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Dallas and New Orleans.

This cutting-edge and intensive program is an exclusive benefit MCCA is offering at no charge to its members and the law firms participating in MCCA’s Firm Affiliate Network (FAN). MCCA members can send an unlimited number of individuals to attend a training session in any city where a course is being held, subject to capacity limitations. Member corporations should consider inviting leaders and implementers within the organization, such as the company’s general counsel, senior attorneys, diversity committee chairs and members, diversity managers, and professional development professionals.
